The selection of local ales was impressive, and I opted for a pint of their house lager – it was crisp and refreshing! I also couldn’t resist trying the fish and chips, which was incredibly satisfying. The fish was perfectly battered and cooked to golden perfection, and the chips were fluffy inside with a delightful crunch. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive and made some great recommendations. I noticed there was a quiz night happening, which seemed to be a popular event, as the pub was buzzing with excitement. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, it would be to expand the dessert menu a bit. I really wanted to try a sweet treat to finish off my meal, but they only had a couple of options available. Overall, it was a fantastic evening, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a friendly pub experience in the area.
